Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, the Arab International Industrial Forum (AIIF) is scheduled to be held at the Doha Exhibition Center on May 25 to 28, 2010. The Forum is organized by the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization, Ministry of Energy and Industry in Qatar and Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group in collaboration with Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The forum will feature an Arab and International industrial conference with participants including ministers of industry, mining, energy and commerce, industrial experts, leading Arab businessmen and investors, and others concerned with different industrial activities, in addition to representatives of international, regional and Arab development funds, financial authorities, investment agencies and councils, export development agencies, and trade associations.
In addition to the conference, an exhibition will be held over an area of 5,000 square meters at the Doha Exhibition Center for four days and will be open to the forum’s participants on May 25 to 28, and to the public on May 27 and 28. Areas have been reserved for country wings as well as for organizations specialized in financing investment and export promotion. The forum’s sponsors will be assigned large areas in prime locations.
The exhibition offers valuable opportunities for organizations desiring to introduce their activities or products, where workshops and seminars on programs for financing and export guarantees can be organized. Special facilities will be made available to convene meetings between exhibitors and visitors.
The organizers will facilitate, for the exhibitors, entry visas, hotel rooms at favorable rates, as well as clearance with the Qatari customs authorities for the goods to be exhibited. Reception services, transportation and other services will also be provided.
It is anticipated that around 1000 Arab and international participants will visit the exhibition on the 25th and 26th of May. Visitors from the general Public visitors on the 27th and 28th of October will include Qatari's, other Gulf nationals, and residents in the region.
The exhibition site map is available upon request. An exhibitor may indicate more than one choice for the location of the exhibition booth, with the final location to be finalized by the organizers. Facilities for renting additional fixtures can be requested after the signing of the agreement.
