The Forum Honors HE. Mona Hrawi, Mahinor Ozdemir, the Belgian Deputy, Leyla Othman, the Kuwaiti writer and Suhair El Qurashi, the Dean of Dar Al-Hikmah in Saudi Arabia
The 3rd New Arab Woman Forum convened on 15 October 2009 at the Intercontinental Hotel Phoenicia in the presence of Bahia Hariri, Minister of Education, and Honorary President of the Forum, representing the first Lady of Lebanon, Mrs. Wafaa Michel Sleiman. The Minister of Culture, Mr. Tammam Salam participated in the opening ceremony alongside Mrs. Mona Hrawi, and a number of Arab and foreign ministers and ambassadors, as well as representatives of Lebanese and Arab women’s associations, and a group of businesswomen from Lebanon and the Arab world.
