Under the patronage of H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Turkey, the 2nd Turkish-Arab Economic Forum (TAF'06) will take place at Ceylan InterContinental Hotel, Istanbul on 8-9 June 2006. TAF'06 is organized by Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group, in cooperation with the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK). The forum will highlight investment opportunities and potential partnerships between Turkey and the Arab countries.
TAF'06 will showcase in-depth analysis of Turkey's rapid growing market and potentials with the measures undertaken to be part of the European Union. In addition, the increasingly liberalized Arab markets offer great investment funds and trade opportunities. These reforms are powered by massive oil revenues, which are expected to top USD 400 billion this year, i.e. twice their level two years ago.
