The Turkish Prime Minister, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan inaugurated The 3rd Turkish Arab Economic Forum, which was hosted by Istanbul and organized by Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group in cooperation with the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and the League of Arab States.

The opening ceremony was attended by more than 700 participants headed by: Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassem Bin Jabr Al Thani, Syrian Prime Minister, H.E. Eng. Mohammad Naji Otri, Palestinian Prime Minister, H.E. Dr. Salem Fayyad, Somalia Prime Minister, H.E. Nur Hassan Hussein, Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Barham Saleh and General Coordinator for the Arab Economic, Social, and Development Summit, The League of the Arab States H.E. Dr. Mervat Tallawy.

In addition to a number of Arab and Turkish Ministers, Government Officials and representatives of the private sector in Turkey and Arab countries.
