The 3rd edition of Oman Economic Forum (OEF) was held today in Muscat. The event was organized by Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal group and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, with the presence of the patron, representative of Sultan Qaboos, HH As’ad Bin Tarik Bin Taimur Al Said.
More than 600 delegates attended the opening ceremony with the participation of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora along with a number of ministers and officials of the public sectors as well as leading executives from the private sector in Oman, the GCC and the Arab region.
The opening of OEF was followed by an award ceremony recognizing the achievements of Mr. Hisham Al-Razzuqi, CEO of Gulf Investment Corporation, Dr. Salem Al-Arimi, CEO of Jalfar Architecture, and Sheikh Salem bin Ahmad Bin Mohamed Al-Ghazali, CEO of Golden Group of Companies.
