In 1993, Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal launched Al Defaiya, a bi-monthly magazine specialized in Defense & Aerospace.

Al Defaiya targets Ministries and Government Institutions, Armed and Paramilitary Forces, Staff Headquarters, Universities and Military Colleges, Manufacturing and Trading Industries, and others.

In 1999, Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal acquired two well established publications:

Al Hasnaa (the region’s first Arab Women & Family magazine, first launched in 1909),and Middle East Travel, the region’s leading English language Tourism and Travel magazine (published since 1977).
