H.E. Mr. George Boujikian

Minister of Industry, Lebanon

Georges Bouchikian, a dedicated and dynamic result oriented leader with 35 years of successful experience in providing strategic product marketing and global management operations, was appointed as a Minister of Industry in September 2021. Under his leadership as CEO, before joining the Government of Lebanon, Georges Bouchikian spearheaded and effectively lead prominent medical and laboratory solutions providing and distributing companies: Technoline S.A.L ; Technoline S.A.L “Off Shore” ; Biodiamond Middle East SAL; Medtrade Pharmaceuticals SAL. His professional experience is not limited to the medical sector, but rather extended to assuming CEO positions of other institutions as well. He also held CEO position at Space Meter SAL which is a surveying & engineering solutions company; CEO position at Bouchikian Real Estate which deals with ownership real Estate; and CEO at Al Ajdad SAL which is a leading manufacturing company dealing with alimentary products in the food industry. Motivated with developing leadership qualities in uniquely challenging situations, he earned degrees and graduated from The Institute of Industrial Management & Information Technology in Canada. A strong believer in actively participating in the socio-economic development of the nation, Mr. Bouchikian also actively serves in a variety of memberships such as Board Member of Syndicate of Medical equipment and supplies importers; Member of Lebanese Swiss chamber of commerce ; Head of Anjar Development Council; and prior to that as a Previous member of International Lebanese chamber of commerce; Previous Chtaura Park Hotel Executive Manager ; Previous Khoury General Hospital Executive Manager. He is multilingual and speaks Arabic, Armenian, English, French fluently as well as German at an intermediate level.
