H.E. Sultan Bin Rashid Al-Khater was assigned as Undersecretary in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry by the Emiri decree No. 50 of 2011. H.E. Sultan Bin Rashid Al-Khater had previously held many leadership positions in the sectors of Energy and Industry, the last one of them was the General Manager and Board Member in Qatar Fuel Additives Company, Ltd. Al-Khater had also held many other positions before, including the Maintenance Director for Liquefied Natural Gas facilities, and Director of Strategic Planning in RasGas Company, and has considerable sixteen years of experience in the Gas Industry. H.E. Al-Khater holds MBR degree from SBS Swiss Business School in 2019, Executive MBA from HEC-Paris in Qatar in 2012 and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with honors from Qatar University in 1996. H.E. Al-Khater also hold representation and membership on the following bodies: Board of Directors member for Qatar Central Bank Board of Directors member for Qatar Leadership Center Board of Directors member for The Social and Sport Contribution Fund Board member for Qatar Leadership Academy
