
Ibrahim Al Masoudi Al Baghdadi

Ibrahim Al Masoudi Al Baghdadi is a prominent Iraqi economic leader, known for his influential roles in both public and private sectors. He serves as the Chairman of the Iraqi Economic Council and Secretary General of the Iraqi Investment Development and Reconstruction Center. He previously held advisory roles in Iraq’s Parliament, supporting investment and private sector development during the third and fourth legislative sessions (2014–2021). Mr. Al Masoudi also founded and chaired the Iraqi National Business Council and holds memberships in several key economic organizations, including the Iraqi National Investment Commission and the Iraqi-Saudi Business Council.
In the private sector, he leads Al Baraka International Group, a conglomerate of 16 companies engaged in real estate, energy, industry, agriculture, and transportation. His academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Over the years, he has participated in and led delegations to numerous international economic forums, representing Iraq at major conferences in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, including engagements with prime ministerial and presidential delegations.
Through his combined leadership in government advisory roles, business development, and global representation, Mr. Al Masoudi has played a key role in advancing Iraq’s investment landscape and strengthening international economic relations.
