The 14th Turkish-Arab Economic Forum is a highly anticipated event that aims to deepen and broaden economic partnerships between Türkiye and Arab countries. The recent presidential and parliamentary elections in Türkiye, along with the appointment of a new economic team, have provided impetus to the already ongoing positive realignment of Turkish-Arab political and economic relations. This has paved the way for a gradual pivot towards more conventional economic and monetary policies in Türkiye, fostering stability in political ties with Arab countries.

Guided by a central theme “A New Era for Partnership”, The 14th Turkish-Arab Economic Forum organized by Al-Iktissad Wal Aamal Group and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, Ministry of Treasury and Finance of Türkiye, Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Investment Office, and The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) is scheduled to take place on November 8, 2023 at the Çırağan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul.

The 2023 Forum will bring together government officials, policymakers, business leaders, and industry experts from Türkiye and a wide range of Arab countries. Participants will include representatives from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman, as well as other Arab nations keen on fostering economic cooperation with Türkiye.

The forum will discuss:

  • Strategic sectors, mega projects, and innovative collaborative strategies, fostering stronger regional partnerships between select GCC countries and Türkiye.
  • Unlocking Investment Opportunities in Türkiye’s Energy Landscape.
  • Türkiye-Arab Collaborations in Defense Innovation and Capabilities.
  • Role of Banks and Capital Markets in Mobilizing Capital Flows
  • Turkish-Arab Futuristic Nexus: Advancing Trade, Investment, and Fintech Collaboration

The 14th Turkish-Arab Economic Forum promises to be a significant milestone in the continued development of economic relations between Türkiye and Arab countries.
